Benjamin W. Woodson, MD
Dr. Benjamin W. Woodson is a staff urologist Baptist Golden Triangle Hospital. Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, Ben received a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and his medical degree from the University Of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson. He completed both his residency in general surgery and urology at Oklahoma University Health Science Center. Ben also completed a fellowship in robotics at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He is board certified and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Urology. Prior to joining the Columbus Urology Staff team in 2013, he was in private practice in Mobile, Alabama.
Ben's clinical interest include: robotic surgery of bladder, prostate, and kidney cancer, treatment of enlarged prostate, percutaneous and endoscopic stone surgery, vasectomy and female incontinence treatment.
